Konkan Rediscovered
Travel along the picturesque beaches of the West Coast of India on a ferry, cross over creeks and also navigate a challenging terrain. Learn how to master riding on beach sand, slush and, gravel.
Mumbai to Harihareshwar | 193 km
A quick turn away from the highway will take us alongside the scenic and stunning off-road trails of Konkan, before parking the wheels for the day at the rest spot in Harihareshwar.
Harihareshwar to Ganpatipule | 193 km
Start the day with a ferry ride over the magnanimous Savitri river. Learning and practicing the craft of dirt riding along the way, as the learning builds up on day three, the coastal road ahead leads us to Ganpatipule, hugging the beaches all along .
Ganpatipule to Morjim | 240 km
Rich in heritage, the Sindhudurg district welcomes us with some unseen inner trails, from there we wind our way down to Malvan, taking the last leg of the coastal route that passes through internal mangroves filled with slush and knee-deep water-crossings before anchoring on seaside landscape of North Goa with some delicious local seafood.
Morjim | Rest Day
Day 4, sees us relax and unwind in the scenic locales of North Goa, away from the commercialized beaches and onto the calm waters of the Arabian Sea. We visit cafes and eateries with authentic Goan food and spend the day recovering for the return journey.
Morjim to Dapoli | 334 km
Return journey starts with a focus to ride more of the internal roads that snake their way through the dense tree cover of Dajipur Bison Forest. A short break for some lake side riding in slush and muck before settling down for lunch, following which we will again take a few ferries to cross over the creeks and get us nearer to home.
Dapoli to Mulshi | 149 km
A farewell to the Konkan coast gets us back into the Sahyadris via some arduous and tricky off-roads that will test your limits, After which the riders will be felicitated with an exclusive certification , to acknowledge having completed the entire Konkan Chase successfully.
Mulshi to Mumbai | 169 km
After a week filled with riding some unseen roads and demanding off-roads, the final leg of the trails heads home via the iconic old NH4 Pune-Mumbai highway, concluding the ride in Mumbai.
